The Royal Hats

Don't know about you, but I'm not much of a hat person.  Unless it's a wool cap that keeps my ears warm in the snow.   Which doesn't count, doesn't even belong on the same planet as these beauties.  This is just a sample of hats seen at the ROYAL WEDDING (of which I saw nada live because of driving home from Idaho).

Get a load of Princess Eugenie's 'scrambled egg' "hat"!  Is it falling in her face or is that how it's meant to be??

Don't sit behind Sophie if you're there to see the ceremony.

Ditto!

When you're connected to royalty you can get away with the ridiculous. . .

UFO approaching!

Something's out of balance here . . .

A Life Saver

On his weekly Saturday morning bicycle ride, Craig tangled with another rider. Both went down hard to the left, both were momentarily knocked unconscious. Craig's injuries consisted of a broken left hand, cut right hand which required stitches, one cracked vertebrae, some facial scrapes and bruises, and scraped knees. His left ear is swollen and black and blue, and his hearing in that ear is diminished.

The purpose of this post is to pay homage to his bicycle helmet. Besides the visible shredding it is cracked in several other places. It was worth every penny of whatever he paid for it.
